The OnePlus 11 was launched in China more than a month ago for a starting price of ¥3999 or around $589. Now, the phone has made its way to the global market. It will be available in all the major markets, including the US, UK, Europe, India, etc. This is not a full-fledged premium flagship like the last year’s OnePlus 10 Pro since it lacks some features, including IP rating, wireless charging, etc. That’s why it is priced lower than the OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus 11 has Gorilla Glass 5 on the back & Gorilla Glass Victus on the front. The frame is also metallic, which gives a premium feel when holding the phone. This year, OnePlus redesigned the camera module, so the camera module is now circular. It is still designed to feel like a part of the metal frame. The phone has a curved display on the front with a hole punch cutout in the top left corner. There is a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support and a Type-C port (still the older USB 2.0). The phone also has an alert slider on the right, which was missed on the OnePlus 10T & OnePlus 10R last year.
OnePlus says the haptic motor inside this phone is 67% larger than the OnePlus 10 Pro’s motor. It is called the “Bionic Motor,” and the company claims it to be the best among Android flagships.
As for the specs, OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch 120Hz Quad-HD+ 10-bit Super Fluid AMOLED display with LTPO technology and Dolby Vision support. There is Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood, paired with 8GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB (UFS 3.1) or 256GB (UFS 4.0) storage. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and there is 100W SuperVOOC charging support.
The camera setup includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, a secondary ultrawide camera with a 48MP Sony IMX581 sensor, and a 2X telephoto camera with a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor. There is no OIS for the telephoto camera. The phone has the 3rd generation Hasselblad camera, hence it comes with many camera features, including Natural Color Calibration, TurboRAW HDR, Hasselblad Portrait Mode, etc.
For selfies, there is a 16MP camera. There is 8K video recording support up to 24fps.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.
