The OnePlus 10T is now official in various markets around the globe, and this is the third phone under the 10 series after the OnePlus 10 Pro & the OnePlus 10R. The main upgrade that the 10T brings over the 10 Pro is in performance, and well, that’s pretty much it. Everything else is less exciting than the 10 Pro, and that explains the lower price. The company did not launch any 10T Pro; otherwise, that would’ve been the successor to the 10 Pro.
Also, in the Chinese market, the 10T was launched as the OnePlus Ace Pro, the successor to the OnePlus Ace, which came to India as the OnePlus 10R.
Design-wise, the OnePlus 10T looks like the OnePlus 10 Pro, at least from the rear. That’s because of the similar-looking camera module design. There is no Hasselblad branding on the camera module, and also, the LED flash module doesn’t have the ‘P2D 50T’ text. The phone even misses out on the alert slider, something that is one of the unique aspects of a OnePlus flagship. We know that OnePlus has removed the alert slider from its budget and mid-range phones, but now, even the flagships from the company are launching without an alert slider which is weird.
The phone has stereo speakers, no 3.5mm headphone jack, no wireless charging, and no IP rating.
Speaking of the specifications, there is a flat 6.7-inch Full-HD+ 120Hz Fluid AMOLED panel with 10-bit color depth, HDR10+ support, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The hole punch cutout in the middle has a 16MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, it packs the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. So, performance-wise, this phone is up there with the best-performing phones in the market right now.
The phone also has a 3D Cooling system that includes the largest vapor chamber that OnePlus has put in a phone.
The camera setup is pretty average. There is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for the primary camera with OIS, an 8MP sensor for the 120-degree ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. There is support for 4K 60fps video recording via the primary camera. The front camera is limited to 1080p 30fps video recording.
Finally, the OnePlus 10T has a 4,800mAh battery and supports 150W fast charging. You get a 160W adapter in the box. Android 12 runs out of the box with OxygenOS 12 on top.
The phone comes in two colors – Jade Green & Moonstone Black. Here is the pricing –
