In November, we got the unofficial renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro via OnLeaks that revealed a quite intriguing design where the camera module design was similar to that of the S22 series by Samsung. So, in those renders, the camera module was extending from the frame of the phone. Later, OnLeaks also shared the specifications of the phone. Now today, we got the official teaser video of the OnePlus 10 Pro, shared by Mayank on Twitter. This official video shows a similar design as the unofficial renders.
So, as the video shows, while there is the same camera module design as shown in previous renders, there is one difference. The LED flash is in a ring-like shape, and there is a text printed on the flash module that says “P2D 50T”. Now, we do not know what that means, but it could be something from Hasselblad’s vocabulary. There is no periscope camera on the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The video shows two colors – Black & Green, both seemingly having a textured finish on the rear. On the front, the OnePlus 10 Pro has the same design as OnePlus 9 Pro. There is a dual-curved panel with a hole-punch cutout on the top left corner.
As we know via previous leaks, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED with LTPO 2.0 tech and a Quad-HD+ resolution. There is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC under the hood, a 5,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging. The phone also retains the 50W fast wireless charging from the 9 Pro. The camera module includes 48MP + 50MP + 8MP sensors, but we do not know whether there are any new sensors this time or they remain the same as for the OnePlus 9 Pro. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor. Finally, the phone runs on Android 12 out of the box, and as we know, in China, it will have ColorOS 12, whereas, in the global market, the phone will run on OxygenOS 12.
Finally, the video shows that the launch is happening in China on the 11th of January.
