Nothing Phone 2a display & camera specifications leaked

The mid-range phone is expected to launch in February!

The first Nothing phone was launched in 2022, the Nothing Phone 1. It was a mid-range smartphone, featuring the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, glyph interface, and the NothingOS. Later this year, we got the Nothing Phone 2, a flagship phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC.

The brand is now preparing to launch another mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a. The phone has been in the news for quite some time, and now, we have the display & camera details, shared by SmartPrix.

The Nothing Phone 2a has a dual camera setup on the rear, the same as the previous two phones from the brand. The primary rear camera has a 50MP Samsung S5KGN9 sensor. Interestingly, there is no mention of such a sensor on Samsung’s website, but this is not the first time we have had a phone using this sensor. The Moto G84 uses the same sensor for its primary camera. It is a 1/1.5″ sensor with a 1.0-micron pixel size.

The second camera is for ultrawide photos and uses a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor, the same sensor used on the Nothing Phone 1 & 2.

For selfies, the phone has a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor.

The display is reportedly a 120Hz AMOLED panel from Visionox and BOE, with a 1084×2412 pixels resolution.

As per previous leaks, Nothing Phone 2a is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 and has a 4,920mAh battery.
