Motorola One Vision & Motorola One Action are the two mid-range phones from the company that are expected to launch in Brazil on May 15th. So far, we know a lot about the “Vision” from the design to the specifications. It is already known that it would be the first phone from Motorola featuring an Exynos processor & a hole-punch display. Now, some more press renders of the phone have leaked in two colors – Blue & Bronze Brown.
As the renders reveal, there is a vertical dual camera setup on the rear, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a hole-punch screen with a noticeable bottom chin, a USB Type-C port on the bottom & a headphone jack on the top. The renders suggest that the Motorola One Vision has a glass back.
Talking about the specifications, there is a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ (2520×1080 pixels) LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 21:9 & 432PPI pixel density. So, after Sony, Motorola is going for 21:9 displays on its phones. Motorola calls it a “CinemaVision” display. Since it is a hole-punch screen, there is a small circular cutout on the top left that houses the single front camera.
Under the hood, there is Samsung’s Exynos 9609 processor that is not yet announced, but is expected to be a slightly less powerful version of the 10nm Exynos 9610. One significant difference between the two is that 9609 comes with a max clock speed of 2.2GHz whereas it’s 2.3GHz in the case of 9610. It has 4GB RAM and at least 128GB internal storage. We don’t know if there are more storage options or not.
Coming to the cameras, there are two on the rear. There is a primary 48 Megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture & Optical Image Stabilization. The secondary camera is a 5MP depth sensor. Some camera features include Night Vision, 4K 30fps videos, & AI Filters. On the front, the Motorola One Vision has a single 25 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Finally, there is a 3,500mAh battery with TurboCharging & the phone runs stock Android 9 Pie out of the box since it comes under Google’s Android One program.
The Motorola One Vision will be priced around 299 Euro ($336), at least in Europe. What are your opinions on the design & the specifications of the phone? Do let us know via the comments section.
