Motorola One Fusion+ launched at Rs 16,999 in India

Just a week after the launch in Europe, the Motorola One Fusion+ launched in India today & Motorola surprised everyone with the pricing. Motorola has now understood that to stay in the Indian smartphone market, it has to offer smartphones at a very aggressive price & that’s what the company is doing this year. The Fusion+ launched at Rs 16,999 in India that translates to around $224 or 197 Euro.

Apart from the price, another surprise was the SOC. While the European variant has Snapdragon 730, the Indian variant comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SOC, which means the Fusion+ is now going to compete with the likes of Poco X2 in India since that phone has the same chipset. Also, while the European variant comes with 15W TurboCharging, the Indian variant supports 18W TurboCharging.

The rest of the specs remain the same as the European variant.

Motorola One Fusion+ has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with no notch or holes & it is an LCD panel with HDR10 support. There is a 5,000mAh battery & Android 10 runs out of the box with only a couple of Motorola apps pre-installed.

The Quad camera array on the rear includes a primary 64 Megapixel Samsung sensor with Quad Pixel technology, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera, a 5 Megapixel macro & a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera.

There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right side & some pre-installed Moto apps include Moto Actions, Moto Display, Moto Gametime, Moto Tips, etc. There is no NFC support for the Indian market.

The first sale happens on 24th June & you can buy the phone via Flipkart. There are two color options – Moonlight White & Twilight Blue.
