Motorola One Action with triple cameras launching in India on August 23

We recently got to know about the Motorola One Zoom, an upper mid-range phone that’s launching at the IFA 2019 with Quad cameras on the rear. Today, we got to know that the Motorola One Action is launching on August 23rd in the Indian market. Now, the Action is like a trimmed-down version of the Motorola One Vision, but there are some better things like a triple camera setup.

Except for that triple camera setup, there is almost no difference at all when you compare the Motorola One Action & Vision. It has the same 21:9 hole-punch screen on the front, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port on the bottom & headphone jack on the top.

Talking about the display, it is a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels. So, the display size & the resolution also remains the same as the Vision. In fact, the phone has the same Exynos 9609 SOC under the hood. There is 3/4GB RAM & 32/64/128GB ROM that’s expandable, thanks to the MicroSD slot.

Coming to the cameras, the Motorola One Action has a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 13MP main camera. There is no information currently about the other two cameras, but it is confirmed, thanks to the renders, that there is an ultra-wide-angle camera with 117-degree FOV. On the front, there is the same 13MP  camera as on the back.

The battery underneath is a 3,500mAh unit & the phone supports 15W TurboCharging. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box & since it’s an Android One phone, it is going to be at least two major Android updates.

Finally, the price for the European market is going to be 299 euros, for the 4GB + 128GB variant. Now, that translates to around Rs 24,000 but that’s definitely not going to be the price for the Indian market.
