Motorola just announced the Moto Z4 as a mid-ranger that is a 5G upgradable phone, thanks to the Moto Mod support. It is, unlike the Moto Z3, a mid-ranger with 11nm Snapdragon 675 processor & features a single 48MP rear camera. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner, the first on any Motorola phone. Now, if you were waiting for the high-end Moto Z4 Force, then it’s most probably not launching this year.
A user asked Motorola about the availability of Moto Z4 Force & Motorola’s response was pretty straightforward. the company said that it wouldn’t be announcing additional Moto Z devices this year. So, this certainly means no Z4 Force or any other Z series phone this year. This now raises the question if Motorola is going to launch a high-end flagship at all or not in 2019.
Also, the Moto Z4 is what we used to expect from the Moto X lineup which the company already ditched. So, does this mean Moto Z is the Moto X? Well, who knows!
