Motorola Moto G6 appears on TENAA, coming with a 3,000mAh battery

It was expected that Motorola would launch the Moto G6 series phones this month, but looks like the launch is delayed until April. Nevertheless, the leaks won’t stop, and today, the G6 showed up on TENAA (XT1925-10) which revealed the design from all the sides. This also confirmed the earlier leaks which showed the design of the phone.

So, almost all the Moto G6 series devices this year are going to have a design similar to the last year’s Moto X4 with some design differences like a larger 18:9 display and different fingerprint scanner location. There is a & glass design having glass on both the rear as well as the front, along with a metal frame all around.

There is a dual camera setup that has the same design as the one on X4. Unlike the G6 Play which has a rear facing fingerprint scanner, the Moto G6 has a fingerprint scanner on the front, which has a pretty weird design. It surely would’ve been much better if the phone had a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear, underneath the Motorola logo.

The volume rockers and power button are on the right, with the power button having a textured finish to differentiate it from the volume rockers.

Some of the specifications have also leaked via TENAA. These include a 5.7-inch 18:9 display and a 3,000mAh battery under the hood. The dimensions are 154.5×72.2×8.3(mm).

There is a bit of confusion regarding the processor as some leaks point towards a Snapdragon 450 while other towards Snapdragon 625. We will have to wait to get some more details about the specifications.
