Moto G84 first look is here as the official renders leak

Moto G82 was the last phone launched under the Moto G8x series. It was launched with Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 50MP camera with OIS, a 120Hz OLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery. Motorola is preparing to unveil the successor, and while we were expecting the successor to be called the Moto G83, it might very well be the Moto G84. We have the official renders of the Moto G84, courtesy of Evan Blass. These renders reveal a similar design language as other Motorola phones launched lately.

While different from the Moto G82, the design is the same as some recently launched Motorola phones, such as the Moto G53, Moto G73, etc. A square camera module has a dual camera setup and an LED flash. For comparison, Moto G82 had a triple camera setup where the third camera was a 2MP macro camera. The camera module has some text that says “50MP”, “2.0µm,” and “OIS,” clearly suggesting that the primary camera has a 50MP sensor with a pixel size of 2.0µm after binning and OIS.

Apart from the Black color, the other two options are Viva Magenta & White. Like other Motorola phones with this color option, the Viva Magenta has the “Pantone” branding on the back. Moto G84 has a flat display on the front with a hole punch cutout in the center. The Moto G82 had a 120Hz pOLED display, so we expect the Moto G84 to feature an OLED panel too.

Another thing to note is the power button’s design on the side. The design suggests that the power button does not double as a fingerprint scanner on the G84, so the phone has an under-display fingerprint scanner. For comparison, the Moto G82 had a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Finally, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

We know nothing about the specifications except that the phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
