120Hz p-OLED, Snapdragon 695 & more

Release Date
June 7, 2022
Starting Price
₹21,499

Last month, the Moto G82 went official in the European market with a starting price of €329.99. Today, the phone launched in the Indian market, and the price starts at ₹21,499. The specifications are almost the same as the Moto G71, which launched in India in January. The upgrades include a high-refresh-rate display and OIS. This is the reason why there is not a big difference in the pricing as the G71 launched at ₹18,999 whereas the G82 at ₹21,499.

Moto G82 keeps the same design language that we have seen for other Moto G phones launched this year. So, the phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, a flat panel with a hole punch in the middle, and a triple camera setup on the rear. The phone has a water-repellent coating. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, something the Moto G71 did not have.

In terms of specs, Moto G82 has a 6.6-inch 120Hz p-OLED panel with a Full-HD+ refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. It has the Snapdragon 695 5G SOC under the hood and supports 13 5G bands. There is a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging. The fast charger is provided in the box.

Moto G82 has three cameras on the rear. There is a primary 50MP sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There is support for up to FHD 60fps video recording via the primary sensor. For selfies, Moto G82 has a 16MP sensor.

Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box, and the phone will get one major Android OS update.

Here is the pricing for the Indian market –

  • 6GB + 128GB – ₹21,499
  • 8GB + 128GB – ₹22,999

With SBI credit cards, you get a flat ₹1,500 discount, so that brings the starting price down to ₹19,999, which is even more impressive. The sale starts on the 14th of June, and you can buy the phone via Flipkart.
