Last month Motorola launched a couple of new smartphones under the Moto G series named Moto G Power & Moto G Stylus. The Moto G8 Power also launched in the UK with Quad cameras & a 5,000mAh battery.
Now, the company is all set to launch another phone under this series named Moto G8 Power Lite. While the launch date of the phone is a mystery, we now have the official press renders of the device that reveal the design from every angle. These were shared by Roland Quandt on Twitter.
Design-wide, the Moto G8 Power Lite has a punch-hole display on the front & triple rear cameras placed in the same manner as in case of Moto G8 Power. The only difference is that there are triple cameras on the “Lite” instead of four as on the G8 Power. The polycarbonate back also has a textured finish for a better grip.
The USB Type-C port is placed on the bottom alongside the headphone jack & the speaker grill. The fingerprint scanner is also there on the rear.
Well, looking at the press renders, it seems like the Moto G8 Power Lite is just the Moto G Power that launched in the US but with a different name. This is because the design is exactly the same & even the wallpaper in the press renders is the same.
If that’s the case, then we are getting Snapdragon 665 SOC, Full-HD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging, Triple rear cameras (16MP f/1.7 + 8MP Ultra-Wide + 2MP Macro), and a 16 Megapixel front-facing camera.
