Back Side of Moto G5

As you can see above, the back of the phone has changed completely if we compare it with previous generations of Moto Gs. There is now Moto Z like camera module, but it is not bulging out, unlike the G5 Plus on which it is raised a bit. The camera module is in such a way that there are very less chances of scratches when it is put on the flat surface ( which is the case for G4). The back is not plastic anymore, and it seems we are finally going to see the Metal build as the full plastic body of G4/G4 Plus disappointed a lot of users. The source through which these images have leaked has mentioned that the battery will be removable and we are hoping that same will be the case for G5 Plus.

Front of Moto G5

Coming to the front, we can see those big bezels that undoubtedly make the phone look ugly! We have an oval shaped fingerprint scanner on the front this time, and thankfully, users can perform other operations with it like When you slide your finger to the left on the scanner, you perform the back function. When sliding to the right, the multitasking mode is triggered and so on. One of the most exciting features that the Moto G5 and G5 Plus are going to have is that users can choose to remove the On Screen Buttons if they want. This will surely make the better use of the screen.

Talking about the specifications, the Moto G5 features a Full HD 5-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor along with Android 7.0 Nougat. There is 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with the options to expand the memory via external SD card. We hope that this time also, there will be a dedicated slot for the memory expansion. The Moto G5 will be priced around $200, and the expected launch date for both the phones is 26th February.Stay Tuned!
