Motorola India has kicked off 2024 with a budget smartphone launch. The Moto G34 5G is now official in the Indian market, and this is a budget 5G phone with a starting price of ₹10,999. For the price, there are some impressive features, including the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and more.
Even though this is a sub-15K phone, the design of the Moto G34 5G is quite nice. The phone comes in three color options, with one having a vegan leather finish on the rear. The camera module design is also unique, compared to the previous Motorola phones. There are two rear cameras. The sides are flat, and the fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button.
The Moto G34 5G has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an IP52 rating.
Under the hood, the phone has the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. For the price, this is a very powerful chip because we are used to seeing this chipset in phones priced around ₹20,000. The chipset is paired with 4GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. In the box, however, you get a 20W adapter.
The camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a secondary 2MP sensor with a macro lens. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
The display is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 720p resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Finally, Android 14 runs out of the box, and Motorola has promised the Android 15 update for this phone.
