Moto G Stylus is the upcoming Motorola phone with a stylus

Less than a week ago, we got the official image of an upcoming Motorola phone with a stylus that was shared by Evan Blass (@evleaks). At that time, there was no information regarding the name under which this phone would arrive in the markets. Well, today, Evan Blass revealed that it is named Moto G Stylus & this means apart from the Moto G8 & Moto G8 Power, we are also getting another Moto G series phone with a stylus.

The official image has already revealed the design from the front where the phone has a punch-hole for the single selfie shooter & a big chin on the bottom. The stylus that comes with this phone doesn’t seem like a sophisticated stylus like the S-Pen from Samsung’s Note series phones. Still, let’s hope it is not a cheap rubber-tipped stylus that you can buy online for any phone easily.

Some certifications reveal that the Moto G Stylus bears the codename “sofia+” which is interesting since the Moto G8 Power has the codename “sofia.” That might hint at the Moto G Stylus being Moto G8 Power with some upgraded specs.

In fact, some sources claim that there is Snapdragon 765 SOC powering the phone, which is a massive upgrade over the Moto G8 Power’s Snapdragon 665. Let’s see what Motorola has to offer with this upcoming Moto G series phone with a stylus. If you don’t know, Motorola is hosting an event on February 23rd, so we are expecting multiple devices to launch at the event.
