Motorola has launched a new entry-level phone in the Indian market, the Moto E22s. This phone is priced at ₹8,999, and interestingly, the phone has the same design as the Moto E32. At this price, you are getting a MediaTek Helio G37 chip, 4GB RAM, a big battery, a 90Hz display, and more. All of this makes the Moto E22s a pretty good value-for-money phone under ₹10,000.

There are two color options – Arctic Blue and Eco Black. The body is made of a PMMA material, and there is a water-repellent coating. The phone does not have a camera module on the rear, so both cameras are placed separately. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, and the phone has a USB Type-C port on the bottom. There is no stereo speaker setup on this phone, as all you get is a single bottom-firing speaker.

On the front, Moto E22s has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720p resolution. The display has a big chin and a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. In terms of performance, there is Helio G37, which is the same SOC that powers the Moto E32 and E32s. There is 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable via a microSD card.

On the back, the phone has two cameras. The primary camera has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens and PDAF. The secondary camera has a 2MP sensor and is used for depth information. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP camera.

Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box.

The phone is priced at ₹8,999 and will go on sale on October 22.
