Micromax finally launched its much-hyped “IN” series smartphones in the Indian market today & the company has already announced that with these “IN” series smartphones, it is making a comeback in the Indian smartphone market to take on the Chinese phone makers including Redmi, Realme & more. The Micromax In Note 1 is one of these newly launched phones from the brand & this is a budget-centric device from the company. The main highlights of this phone include MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a Full-HD+ hole-punch display, Quad cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, Stock Android etc.
MICROMAX IN NOTE 1 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
Design-wise, the phone looks really stunning, especially in the Green color. There is an “X” pattern on the rear & the company calls it the “Illuminating Prism Pattern”. The fingerprint scanner is there on the back as well & the Quad cameras are placed in a rectangular module on the top left. The power button & the volume rockers are there on the right side, whereas the dedicated button for the Google Assistant is on the left side. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom along with the speaker grill & the 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the front, the Micromax IN Note 1 has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with 21:9 aspect ratio & 450nits brightness. So the display on this phone is pretty tall, which is definitely great for those who want a phone for Media consumption. Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset & it is paired with 4GB RAM & 128GB storage. This is the same chipset that powers phones such as the Redmi Note 9, Realme Narzo 20 etc. that are priced between Rs 10-12K right now.
The IN Note 1 comes with a 5,000mAh battery & support for 18W Fast Charging over the USB Type-C port. There is also support for Reverse Charging.
Coming to the cameras, the Micromax IN Note 1 has a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 48 Megapixel shooter paired with a 5 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 Megapixel depth sensor & a 2 Megapixel macro camera. There is a 16 Megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
Finally, the Micromax IN Note 1 comes with Stock Android experience with no Bloatware or Ads & the company also promises two major Android updates which is really great!
