No Exynos 8895 For Meizu Pro 7 or Pro 7 Plus, Says Samsung Engineer

From past few years, Samsung has been launching two different variants of its high-end phones i.e., Snapdragon & Exynos variant. This year also, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have Snapdragon 835 & Exynos 8895 variants. Both these chips are based on the 10nm LPE Process by Samsung, but the benchmark and performance tests have shown that the Exynos 8895 has got an edge over the Snapdragon 835. Right now, Meizu is the only company that uses the Exynos chips from Samsung in its phones. The Meizu Pro 7 is in the news for quite a long time now as it first made highlights with its secondary display on the back.

Meizu Pro 7 Exynos 8895

The Meizu Pro 7 is in the news for quite a long time now as it first made highlights with its secondary display on the back. It is said that the Meizu Pro 7 Plus is also launching with the Pro 7. One of the doubts that we have about the Pro 7 is – Will it come with the Exynos 8895 or not. Well, NO! Meizu Pro 7 will not feature the latest Exynos chip, and this was revealed today via a Samsung Engineer.

The reason is simple. Samsung hasn’t yet planned to provide the Exynos 8895 to any other company, so there are no chances for the Meizu Pro 7 or 7 Plus to have it packed under the hood. Well, that’s pretty much it.

The Pro 7 has MediaTek Helio X30 Processor, dual rear cameras and a secondary display on the back. The phone is coming in two variants with the price of CNY 3,299 ($486) and 3,799 ($559) respectively.
