Meizu, after launching the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus officially in China, will launch another device in the same series in September. The CEO of Meizu has already revealed that it will be called Meizu 16X and is going to be a mid-range smartphone. According to the rumors, the phone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. Today, an upcoming Meizu smartphone with the model number m1872 showed up on AnTuTu benchmark. This is most probably the Meizu 16X since AnTuTu listing shows the processor as Snapdragon 710.

The phone scored 164,726 on AnTuTu, which is less than the scores of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE (169K-170K), which is powered by the same processor. The listing reveals 6GB RAM, 64GB ROM and a Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It looks like the phone won’t feature a notch as the AnTuTu listing shows an 18:9 display. Android 8.1.0 Oreo runs out of the box with Flyme OS 7 on top.
We don’t know the launch date, but it is confirmed that the device is launching next month, i.e., in September. Looking at the prices of Meizu 16 and 16 Plus, the Meizu 16X could be the cheapest Snapdragon 710-powered smartphone when it launches.
