On December 11, Vivo is expected to launch the successor to the Vivo NEX. The NEX was one of the unique phones of this year with an almost fully bezel-less display and a motorised front camera. With the Vivo NEX 2, we are looking forward to much better design and extra features that we don’t see in other phones. Today, the live images of the phone were shared by a Weibo user (ophone8), and the images reveal features like dual displays, a bezel-less design etc.
The images also show the phone next to the Vivo NEX, and we can see some significant design changes like lesser bezels all around and a smaller bottom chin on the front. Also, there is a circular camera module on the back, and there are three camera lenses on the rear. The circular module has RGB lighting as well. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear since it is placed under the screen. The phone does feature the beloved headphone jack and it is placed on top.
The Vivo NEX 2 looks beautiful, at least in the renders. A source recently revealed that the phone also has a variant with 10GB RAM and 128GB storage. Since the Vivo NEX was launched globally, we expect the same to happen with the NEX 2. Just don’t expect it to come to global markets anytime soon after it launches in China.
