LG launched the G7+ ThinQ in May, and after three months, the device is finally making its way to the Indian market. The phone is going to be Flipkart Exclusive in India and at a price of Rs 39,990, the LG G7+ ThinQ is definitely going to be a great phone to buy. LG isn’t known for great pricing but this time, the company surprised everyone with the impressive pricing of the G7+ ThinQ.
The G7+ ThinQ is the first smartphone from LG that comes with a notch. But, there is an option in the settings to hide the notch. Just like previous LG Flagships, the G7+ ThinQ has a Quad-HD+ FullVision display with a resolution of 19.5:9. The resolution if 1440 x 3120 pixels and it is an IPS LCD Panel. It is a known fact that LG uses LCD panels for its G series flagships while the V series phones get OLED panels.
The LG G7+ ThinQ comes with impressive camera hardware that includes a dual rear camera setup with a primary 16MP lens having a f/1.6 aperture, OIS, PDAF, Laser Autofocus etc. The secondary rear camera is a 16MP lens with f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera has a super wide angle lens, just like previous LG phones. The camera features include AI, Portrait Mode etc. The rear camera can shoot 4K 60fps videos as well. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
The G7 ThinQ has Boombox speaker that uses the internal space of the device as a resonance chamber which results in 2X Bass as compared to the normal smartphone speakers. There is also the HiFi Quad DAC & DTS:X for virtual 3D sound for all content. So, for the audiophiles, this phone checks all the boxes.
The LG G7+ ThinQ has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for the display, and it is also IP68 dust and water resistant. Powering the device, there is the Snapdragon 845 Processor under the hood with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. The phone has USB Type-C Port as well as the headphone jack.
The G7+ supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and also the Wireless Charging. There is a 3,000mAh battery underneath, and Android 8.0 Oreo runs out of the box with LG’s custom skin on top.
Considering all the features, the LG G7+ ThinQ is one of the best phones that you can get under Rs 45K. A solid build, great set of cameras, superb audio features, IP68 Rating, Wireless Charing etc make it an ‘almost’ perfect flagship device. The phone will be available on Flipkart from August 10.
