Lenovo made a comeback in the Indian smartphone market with its three new phones that launched today. These re the Lenovo Z6 Pro, Lenovo K10 Note & Lenovo A6 Note. While the Z6 Pro is a flagship, the K10 Note is a mid-ranger & the A6 Note is a budget device. The price starts at Rs 7,999 for the A6 Note & goes up to Rs 33,999 for the Z6 Pro.
LENOVO A6 NOTE – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The A6 Note is a budget phone & hence, it features a normal design with a polycarbonate back panel, a display on the front with U-shaped notch, Dual Rear cameras, rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a micro USB port on the bottom, etc. The phone comes in two colours, i.e., Black & Blue.
The display on the front is a 6.09-inch HD+ panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio & 2.5D glass on top. There is an octa-core 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 SOC paired with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. There is 3GB RAM & 32GB storage with an option to expand the storage via microSD card. There is a triple card slot, so that’s a good thing.
On the rear, there are dual cameras that include a primary 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture lens & a secondary 5MP depth sensor. The Lenovo A6 Note has a 5MP front-facing camera.
The battery underneath is a 4,000mAh unit & the phone comes with 10W Charger in the box. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box with custom Lenovo skin on top. Looking at the press renders, it looks like the skin is close to stock Android.
LENOVO K10 NOTE – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The Lenovo K10 Note is the mid-ranger from the brand that’s going to compete with phones like Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, etc. under Rs 15,000 price segment in India. Don’t get fooled by those shiny renders as the phone has a glossy plastic back but that’s normal at this price.
‘The Lenovo K10 Note has a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio & 90%+ screen-to-body ratio. The company didn’t mention any Gorilla Glass protection, so we doubt if the phone has any.
The SOC powering the K10 Note is Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 that is a very good chip at this price, but still, we should keep in mind that phones like Realme 5 Pro with Snapdragon 712 are also available in this price. There is 4/6GB RAM & 64/128GB internal storage.
The Lenovo K10 Note features a triple camera setup & it is currently the only phone under Rs 15,000 that launched this year with a telephoto camera. So, there is a primary 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 8MP telephoto camera with 2X Optical Zoom & f/2.4 aperture, & finally a 5MP depth sensor.
On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera placed in that Waterdrop notch. Underneath, there is a 4,050mAh battery & the phone charges via 18W Charger & has a USB Type-C port. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box.
LENOVO Z6 PRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The Lenovo Z6 Pro is a premium flagship from the brand that launched in China in April this year. There are no compromises whatsoever when it comes to the design as there is Gorilla Glass on the front & the rear, a metal frame, a bezel-less design with a tiny U-shaped notch on top, Quad Rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, headphone jack,& more.
There is a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display on the front with a 6th-generation fingerprint scanner under it. The SOC powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 & there is 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage.
The camera setup is pretty interesting on the back. There is a primary 48 Megapixel camera with Sony IMX 586 sensor & Quad Pixel technology, a secondary 16MP Super-Wide-Angle camera with 125-Degree FOV, a third 8 Megapixel telephoto camera, & a fourth 2MP camera with 2.9-micron pixel size, solely for recording videos. The company calls it a Hyper-Video camera & it has OIS + EIS.
On the front, there is a 32MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro has Coldfront Liquid Cooling & there is a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging as well. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box.
