A couple of months back, Lenovo launched the Z6 Pro with high-end specs like Snapdragon 855 processor, Quad Cameras, AMOLED screen & more. Today, the Lenovo Z6 went official in China with mid-range specifications & at a starting price of 1,899 Yuan or $276, it is a perfect competitor to the Redmi K20 from Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi.
LENOVO Z6 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The design of the Z6 isn’t that different from the Z6 Pro as it has the same premium design & build featuring glass on the rear. There is a vertical triple camera setup on the rear & a display with a U-shaped notch on the front. The USB Type-C port and the headphone jack are placed on the bottom along with the speaker grill.
The fingerprint scanner is placed under the display & it is the sixth generation in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the front, the phone has a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display with a fingerprint scanner underneath it. Thanks to the thin bezels, the screen-to-body ratio is around 93.1%, and the aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The processor powering the Lenovo Z6 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 730, the latest mid-range offering from Qualcomm. It is an 8nm processor with Kryo 470 CPU, Adreno 618 GPU & clock speed up to 2.2GHz.
The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 512GB.
On the rear, there is a triple camera setup that includes a primary 24MP camera with f/1.8 aperture lens, an 8MP Telephoto camera with 2X Optical Zoom & f/2.4 aperture lens and a third 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens. There is a single 16MP front camera. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos & features include Night Scene, Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, Beautify, etc.
There is a 4,000mAh battery underneath & the phone supports 18W Fast Charging as well. ZUI 11 runs on top of Android 9 Pie.

The Lenovo Z6 comes in Blue color only, and there are three storage options. Here is the pricing for the Chinese market –

The phone will go on sale starting July 9 in China.
