The ‘Blaze’ series by Lava includes some interesting smartphones. Some have dual displays like the Lava Blaze Duo, while some have a curved display like the Lava Blaze Curve. Today, the brand launched a budget 5G phone named the Lava Blaze Dragon. While the name is pretty weird, it all makes sense when you get to know the chipset. After a long time, we have a Lava smartphone with a Snapdragon chipset.

The Lava Blaze Dragon is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. This chipset was launched in June 2023, so it’s been two years since its introduction. The interesting part is the UFS 3.1 storage, which even some mid-range smartphones do not offer in the Indian market. There is LPDDR4X RAM. Lava claims an AnTuTu score of 450,000 points, which is quite good at this price.
The phone packs a big 6.745-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 720p resolution. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
As for the cameras, the dual camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP sensor paired with a useless depth or macro sensor. There is an 8MP selfie camera.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 15 out of the box. The Lava Blaze Dragon will get only one OS update.
The phone comes in a single configuration – 4GB + 128GB. The price is ₹9,999, but there is also a ₹1,000 discount under the bank offer, bringing the price down to ₹8,999.
