Lava Blaze Curve is the latest mid-range phone from the brand for the Indian market. The price starts at ₹17,999, and for the price, this is a pretty good value-for-money phone. The phone offers the same chipset as the Lava Agni 2, which was launched last year at ₹21,999.
Design-wise, as the name suggests, the Lava Blaze Curve has a curved display. This makes the phone look and feel premium. The back has Gorilla Glass 3 with a matte finish. There are three cameras on the rear, laid out in an iPhone-ish style. The phone features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone has an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Lava Blaze Curve has a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SOC, a rebranded Dimensity 1080.
There is LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage. The display is a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a Full-HD+ resolution with an 800 nits peak brightness. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
On the back, Lava Blaze Curve has three cameras. The primary camera has a 64MP sensor, the ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and the third camera is for macro shots with a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor. The primary rear camera can shoot 4K videos at up to 30fps.
Finally, the Lava Blaze Curve runs on Android 13 out of the box, which is a shame because we are in 2024 and phones should be launching with Android 14. Lava has promised two Android updates for the phone.
Lava Blaze Curve comes in two colors, and here is the pricing –
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹17,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹18,999
