In April, Lava Blaze 2 was launched in the Indian market with the UNISOC T616 chipset, a glass back, a 90Hz refresh rate, and more. Today, the brand launched a slightly upgraded version in India, the Lava Blaze 2 Pro. While the Blaze 2 launched in India at ₹10,999, the Blaze 2 Pro is priced at ₹9,999.

Lava Blaze 2 Pro

Design-wise, Lava Blaze 2 Pro has a different camera module design. The phone also has one extra camera sensor on the back. While the Blaze 2 has a glass back, the Blaze 2 Pro has a polycarbonate back panel. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a Type-C port, and a single bottom-firing speaker.

Lava Blaze 2 has a hole punch design, but the Blaze 2 Pro has a waterdrop notch design.

Speaking of specifications, the Blaze 2 Pro has the same display as the Blaze 2 – a 6.5-inch 90Hz 720p LCD. The chip is the same – Unisoc T606, and so is the battery size and charging speed – 5,000mAh + 18W. Surprisingly, the phone runs on Android 12 out of the box, a huge disappointment, considering Android 14 is right around the corner.

Lava Blaze 2 Pro

As for the upgrades, Lava Blaze 2 Pro has 8GB RAM instead of 6GB and has a 50MP primary camera sensor instead of 13MP. While two more cameras are on the rear, they are useless 2MP sensors.

The phone is not listed online so it is probably an offline-centric device from the brand.
