Today, alongside the iQOO Z6, the company also launched an even more affordable 5G phone named the iQOO Z6x. This phone starts at ¥1199, which translates to around $175, and at this price, you are getting 5G support, thanks to Dimensity 810 SOC. And that’s not it! The phone has a massive 6,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, and more.
While this phone comes under the Z6 series, it looks nothing like the iQOO Z6. Instead, the Z6x looks more like the iQOO Neo 6 from the rear, especially in the Orange color. Apart from that, this is your typical budget 5G phone with an old-school notch design on the front, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual cameras, etc.
There is MediaTek Dimensity 810 SOC under the hood that is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The battery size is 6,000mAh, and there is also 44W fast charging support. So, in terms of battery performance, this is going to be a phone to beat.
iQOO Z6x has a 6.58-inch LCD with Full-HD+ resolution. There is a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro camera on the rear. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. Interestingly, the official website shows Android 11 as the operating system.
The phone comes in three colors, and here is the pricing –
- 6GB + 128GB – ¥1199 (~$175)
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥1399 (~$204)
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥1599 (~$233)
The phone will go on sale in China on September 1.
