Along with the iQOO Z6 4G, the company also launched the iQOO Z6 Pro. The Z6 Pro is, in fact, the successor to the last year’s iQOO Z5 and not the vanilla iQOO Z6 since the company has made some changes in the naming style. The Z6 Pro keeps the same SOC, i.e., Snapdragon 778G 5G, but gets a better panel & faster charging. The price starts at ₹23,999, the same starting price as that for the iQOO Z5 of last year.
Design-wise, the Z6 Pro looks identical to the iQOO Z6 & Z6 4G. It has a similar-looking camera module on the back with two big circles in it. There is a triple camera setup on the back. The fingerprint scanner now sits under the display and not on the side. The phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a display with a notch on the front, and it is a 6.44-inch 90Hz AMOLED with 1300 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support.
The notch on the top houses a 16MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 778G 5G SOC which is the same chip that powered last year’s iQOO Z5. For better cooling, there is a VC Liquid cooling system as well.
The battery size is 4,700mAh, and the phone supports 66W fast charging. So, while the battery size is reduced from 5,000mAH to 4,700mAH, the charging speed gets an upgrade from 44W to 66W. As for the cameras, iQOO Z6 Pro has a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro.
Some other features include 4D Game Vibration, Z-axis linear motor, Ultra Game Mode, Android 12-based FuntouchOS, etc.
In India, the iQOO Z6 Pro comes in two colors – Phantom Dusk and Legion Sky. There are three storage options, and here is the pricing –
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹23,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹24,999
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹28,999
The phone will go on sale during Amazon’s Summer Sale.
