iQOO Z6 Lite with Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 goes on sale in India

It is the first phone powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1

Earlier this month, we got two new SOCs from Qualcomm – Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. iQOO is the first brand to launch a phone powered by the latter, and the phone is named the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. Today, the phone went on sale in the Indian market, and the price starts at ₹13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. You can also avail ₹2500 discount using SBI credit or debit cards, which brings the price down to ₹11,499.

In terms of specs, iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has a 6.58-inch display, and it is a 120Hz IPS LCD with a Full-HD+ resolution. There is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset under the hood, which is built on the 6nm process and on the AnTuTu benchmark, this chip scores around 390,000 which makes it a better SOC than the likes of Snapdragon 680 and Dimensity 700.

The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 18W fast charging. Interestingly, you do not get an adapter in the box, so unless you use SBI cards, you have to buy the adapter separately.

The camera setup on the rear includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera. Finally, FuntouchOS 12 runs out of the box.
