iQOO Z3 with Snapdragon 768G to launch in India soon

The company has started teasing the launch in India!

The sub-Rs 25,000 price segment is going to heat up next month, with a lot of phones coming at that price range. We already know that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is launching on the 10th of next month, and now, iQOO has started teasing the launch of iQOO Z3 in India. It is being reported that we might see this phone launching in India sometime around the first couple of weeks of June. This phone was launched in the Chinese market two months ago.

iQOO Z3

It is a mid-range phone, hence uses the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G SOC. Performance-wise, this chip sits between the Snapdragon 765G and the Snapdragon 778G. So if it launches underRs 25,000 in India, it is going to be the best performing 5G phone at that price since the competition includes phones with Snapdragon 750G and 765G. iQOO Z3 has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, and there is a triple camera setup on the rear that includes 64 Megapixel primary, an 8 Megapixel ultrawide, and a 2 Megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there is a 16 Megapixel camera upfront.

The phone packs a 4,400mAh battery inside and supports 55W fast charging. Android 11 runs out of the box. Well, in our previous article, we talked about some of the leaked specs of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, and compared to that phone, the iQOO Z3 has a more powerful SOC, a similar camera setup, and an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED.

We don’t have the exact pricing yet, so all that we can right now is to guess. In China, iQOO Z3 launched at a starting price of 1,699 Yuan, which translates to around Rs 19,000. So, the price in India could start at well under Rs 25,000, which would be really good pricing.
