In December, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro was launched in the Chinese market, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, a 1.5K 8T LTPO display, a Sony IMX920 sensor, and 120W fast charging. The brand is all set to launch an upgrade soon, the iQOO Neo 9s Pro. The main upgrade will be performance, as the phone is launching with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Alongside this phone, the iQOO Neo 9s Pro+ is also launching in China, making it the first phone in the Neo series with the “Pro+” branding.
As per Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Neo 9s Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 120W fast charging, a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor, a new white color option, and a plastic frame.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ is an upgrade over the Dimensity 9300 and features a slightly upgraded CPU where the clock speed of the prime Cortex-X4 core has been bumped up to 3.4GHz, versus 3.25GHz. Another upgrade is in the AI department, with the newer SOC offering up to 10% performance improvement over the predecessor.
The iQOO Neo 9s Pro+ goes the Qualcomm route as the phone has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC.
The launch date is not yet known.
