The iQOO Neo 7 Pro was launched in July last year in the Indian market at ₹34,999, and it was the most affordable phone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Today, the brand launched the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in the Indian market, the successor to the Neo 7 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in the Chinese market is a different phone than what was launched in India today. The Neo 9 Pro in India is available in China as the Neo 9.
One of the biggest upgrades over the Neo 7 Pro is the design. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro looks completely different, thanks to a new camera module design that includes two large circles, each with a camera sensor. The phone comes in two colors, one of which has a two-tone finish on the back & a vegan leather material. The other color option has an AG glass back.
The sides are flat, and so is the display on the front. There are stereo speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC, a pretty significant upgrade over the Neo 7 Pro’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The phone comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is 5,160mAh and the phone supports 120W fast wired charging. The 120W adapter is provided in the box.
There are two rear cameras – a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with OIS + f/1.88 lens and an 8MP ultrawide. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 3000 nits peak brightness. The phone runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14, and the company has promised three Android OS updates.
Other features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, IP54 rating, Q1 display chip, and an IR blaster.
There are two color options – Fiery Red, and Conqueror Black. Here is the pricing –
