Last month, iQOO Neo 7 launched in the Chinese market with a Dimensity 9000+ chip and a starting price tag of ¥2699 (~$374). It is the successor to the iQOO Neo 6, which launched in April. But apart from the Neo 6, iQOO also launched Neo 6 SE this year, which featured Snapdragon 870 SOC. And now, we got to know that the successor to the Neo 6 SE is also launching this year. It will be named the iQOO Neo 7 SE, and as per Digital Chat Station, the phone has MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SOC.
As the name suggests, the Dimensity 8200 is an upgrade to the Dimensity 8100 chip, which powers phones including Redmi Note 11T/11T Pro (aka Poco X4 GT / Redmi K50i), Oppo Reno 8 Pro, Vivo S15 Pro, OnePlus 10R and more. While Dimensity 8100 SOC had a CPU clocked at up to 2.85GHz, the Dimensity 8200 SOC reportedly has clock speeds up to 3.1GHz, all thanks to the prime Cortex-X2 core. Yes, this prime core is there in the CPU of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Dimensity 9000, and Dimensity 9000+.
DCS said the iQOO Neo 7 SE (model number – PD2238) would be launched by the end of this year in the Chinese market, and the phone supports 120W fast charging, just like the iQOO Neo 7.
