[Update – Official Renders] iQOO NEO 6 – Here is our first official look at the phone

iQOO 9-like camera module & a leather finish!

UPDATE – THE OFFICIAL PRESS RENDERS OF THE PHONE ARE NOW HERE AND THEY WERE SHARED BY DIGITAL CHAT STATION

In March last year, iQOO Neo 5 went official with the Snapdragon 870 5G SOC, a 120Hz AMOLED, and 44W charging. The phone came to India as the iQOO 7. Now, the company is preparing to launch the successor soon, the iQOO Neo 6. It is set to go official in the Chinese market on the 13th of April, i.e., less than two weeks from today. Today, the company shared the rear design of the phone, where we got to see the camera module and other design elements.

As we can see, the camera module on the back resembles the camera module of iQOO 9 and 9 Pro, but it does not go from one side to the other. In simple words, take the camera module of iQOO 9 Pro, cut it in half, and you get the camera module design for iQOO Neo 6. The camera module has the ‘NEO’ branding on it along with the mention of ‘OIS’, which means the primary sensor features OIS. This isn’t something new for the iQOO Neo series since even the iQOO Neo 5 had a primary camera with OIS.

There are three cameras on the rear, and looking at the lenses, it is safe to say that there is a wide, an ultrawide, and a macro/depth sensor.

So far, we know that this phone has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC under the hood, which is the same SOC that powers the iQOO 9 & 9 Pro, both of which are premium offerings from the brand. There are also rumors that the phone supports 80W fast charging, which, if true, is a huge upgrade over iQOO Neo 5’s 44W charging.

Finally, as the image above shows, there is an orange color option with a leather-like finish.
