iQOO Neo 6 is launching on May 31st in India

This is a rebadged iQOO Neo 6 SE (China)

Earlier this month, the iQOO Neo 6 SE launched in China, featuring the Snapdragon 870 chipset and a 120Hz AMOLED panel. Soon, iQOO is bringing that phone to India but without the ‘SE’ in the name. It will be called the iQOO Neo 6 in India. Today, iQOO officially announced that the launch in India is taking place on the 31st of this month.

Design-wise, the phone looks identical to the iQOO 9 Pro, except that the camera module does not cover the whole width of the back panel. There are three cameras in it and also the ‘NEO’ branding. The phone has an IR Blaster on top, stereo speakers, and an X-axis linear motor. On the front, there is a flat display with a hole punch cutout in the center.

As for the specs, iQOO Neo 6 for India has a Snapdragon 870 SOC that is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is a 6.62-inch 120Hz E4 AMOLED panel with 1300 nits peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and HDR10+ support. The battery size is 4,700mAh, and the phone supports 80W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, there is a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor. Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box.

Well, we do not know at what price the phone is launching, but we are pretty sure the starting price will remain under ₹30,000, the reason being the presence of iQOO 9 SE in the sub-₹35,000 price segment, which offers a Snapdragon 888 SOC. Moreover, the iQOO 7 for the Indian market is already available for under ₹30,000, which has Snapdragon 870 and a 120Hz display. So, it would be interesting to see how iQOO prices the Neo 6 in India.
