iQOO 13 official images & features shared by the company

Launching on October 30!

With the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset now official, many smartphone brands have started announcing the launch dates of their flagship phones powered by this chipset. In one of our recent articles, we discussed the Realme GT 7 Pro, which is launching in India next month as the first phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Another device launching with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in the Indian market soon is the iQOO 13. In the Chinese market, the phone is launching on October 30. In typical iQOO fashion, the company has started sharing the details of the phone on Weibo.

The official images of the phone are now here, and they confirm the design, which we have already seen via leaks. As we can see, the iQOO 13 does not look a lot different than the iQOO 12. There is a similar camera module design and placement. But, as we can see, the camera module has an RGB light in it, something which was not present on the iQOO 12.

Moreover, the LED flash is now placed inside the camera module, and this is a ring-type LED flash. The reason why the iQOO 12 did not have the LED flash inside the camera module was the periscope telephoto camera. But, the iQOO 13 uses a normal telephoto lens; hence, the company could place the flash inside the camera module.

The frame is flat, the same as last year.

On the front, the iQOO 13 has a flat BOE Q10 LTPO OLED panel with a Quad-HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. There is a big 6,150mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging.

The phone reportedly has a triple 50MP setup on the rear, and the telephoto camera offers 2x optical zoom, a downgrade from the iQOO 12’s 3x telephoto camera.
