In December last year, the iQOO 11 series was launched in China, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. More than six months after the launch, the brand is preparing to launch another phone under this series, the iQOO 11S. The phone is launching first in the Chinese market on the 4th of July.
This is quite a confusing launch from iQOO because while it was expected that the phone would feature an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, that won’t be the case. A new post by Digital Chat Station claims that iQOO has not used the overclocked version in this phone but rather the normal Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with the CPU clocked at up to 3.2GHz. In other words, the performance is identical to the iQOO 11 & 11 Pro.
The iQOO 11S has a flat display & it is a Quad-HD+ E6 AMOLED panel. There is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 sensor for the primary camera and a Vivo V2 chip.
Finally, the phone supports 200W fast wired charging.
Based on the leaks and reports, the iQOO 11S has the design of the iQOO 11 but the primary camera sensor and the charging speed of the iQOO 11 Pro.
We expect the price to be between iQOO 11 & iQOO 11 Pro prices.
