The iQOO 10 series is now official in China, which is the successor to the iQOO 9 series that launched in January this year. The company launched two phones in China today named the iQOO 10 & the iQOO 10 Pro. Both these are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which makes them the most powerful phones from iQOO at the moment.
Interestingly, the prices are similar to or even lower than the iQOO 9 series. For example, the iQOO 9 launched at ¥3999 (~$629), whereas the iQOO 10 launched at ¥3699 (~$548). The 10 Pro starts at ¥4999 (~$741), so that’s the same starting price as the iQOO 9 Pro.
iQOO 10
Design-wise, one thing that is new with this series is the rear design. There is a two-tone look this time, where the area around the camera module has a glossy finish with a carbon fiber pattern under the glass. And this black carbon fiber design around the camera module is for all the color options, not just one. In short, it is easy to differentiate the iQOO 10 series from the iQOO 9 series since the rear design is entirely new this time.
Apart from the back design, there isn’t a lot of difference. The phone has a flat display on the front with a hole punch cutout in the middle. There are dual X-axis linear motors and a stereo speaker setup.
Regarding specs, iQOO 10 has a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 1500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the phone has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC that is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The battery size is 4,700mAh, and the phone supports 120W fast charging.
As for the cameras, iQOO 10 has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.57″ 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, and it supports OIS. There is a 13MP camera for the ultrawide/macro shots and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with a 2X telephoto lens. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor. One thing to note is a Vivo V1+ custom imaging chip inside that offers some significant camera improvements.
Here is the pricing for the Chinese market –

- 8GB + 256GB – ¥3999 (~$593)
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥4299 (~$637)
- 12GB + 512GB – ¥4699 (~$697)
iQOO 10 PRO
Speaking of the iQOO 10 Pro, the design on the rear is the same as the iQOO 10, but on the front, it has a curved display instead of a flat one. The phone comes in only two colors – the Legendary Edition and the Track Edition. There is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and wireless charging support.
The phone has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. While the battery size is the same as the iQOO 9 Pro (4,700mAH), the charging speed is bumped up to 200W from 120W. So that’s a big jump in the charging speed. iQOO claims that the 200W adapter can charge the battery fully in just 10 minutes. So that’s incredibly fast. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging.
There is a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Quad-HD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and up to 1500 nits peak brightness. The panel can output 10-bit colors, and it has the LTPO 3.0 tech too. In terms of the cameras, iQOO 10 Pro has a primary 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with gimbal stabilization, a 50MP sensor with a 150-degree ultrawide lens, and a 14.6 Megapixel sensor with a 3X Telephoto lens and OIS.
For comparison, the iQOO 9 Pro had a 16MP telephoto lens with 2.5X Optical Zoom. There is a Vivo V1+ imaging chip under the hood, and the phone supports 8K video recording as well.
Here is the pricing for the Chinese market –
