Infinix ZERO 5G officially announced with Dimensity 900

It is the first 5G phone by Infinix

Infinix launched some excellent value-for-money phones recently and the latest phone to be officially unveiled is the Infinix ZERO 5G. The main thing to note is that this is the first 5G phone from Infinix, so it is a special device from the company. Some highlights include a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SOC, 33W charging, and a 120Hz display.

Now, Infinix has only announced the phone, so there is no information on the pricing and availability yet. In the Indian market, the phone is launching on the 14th of this month.

Design-wise, Infinix calls it a “Uni-Curve” design, and that camera module on the rear is designed similar to the one on the Oppo Find X3 Pro of last year. There are three cameras on the back, and two LED flash modules. The fingerprint scanner is present on the right side. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom, along with the USB Type-C port.

Under the hood, Infinix ZERO 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SOC, and there is also LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the front, the phone has a 6.78-inch 120Hz LCD with a Full-HD+ resolution.

The triple camera module on the back has a primary 48MP sensor, a 13MP telephoto with 2X Optical Zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. It is interesting that instead of an ultrawide camera, Infinix decided to go for the telephoto lens on this mid-range device. For selfies, you get a 16MP camera.

Finally, the Infinix ZERO 5G has a 5,000mAh battery, and it supports 33W fast charging. Android 11 runs out of the box with XOS 10 running on top.

The phone comes in three colors named Cosmic Black, Horizon Blue, and Skylight Orange. The orange variant has a leather-like finish on the back, while the other two variants have a matte back.

In India, the phone is expected to launch under ₹20K.
