Lately, Infinix has launched some really good value-for-money devices in the Indian market, and that’s really impressive considering the competition in the Indian smartphone market with brands such a Redmi, Realme, Motorola, Samsung, etc. launching back to back devices in the budget segment. Today, Infinix launched a new budget phone in India named the Infinix Note 11. So, as the name suggests, this is the successor to the Infinix Note 10, which launched in India earlier this year in June.
The “Introductory” price of the Note 11 starts at ₹11,999, and for this price, this seems like an incredible value for money phone. Some of the highlights of this phone include an AMOLED panel, 33W fast charging, 50MP camera, Helio G88 chipset, Stereo speakers, etc.
Since it is a budget phone, it has a polycarbonate build, so that’s not an issue. Still, in terms of looks, this phone does look quite stylish with that matte finish on the rear. Moreover, this phone gets flat sides, not curved as we see in most phones. So, this also gives it a nice premium look, even though the materials used here are not premium-quality.
Also, despite having a big battery, this phone is not very heavy and thick. In fact, it is only 7.9mm thick & weighs 184 grams. The fingerprint scanner sits on the right side and doubles as a power button. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom alongside the Type-C port and the speaker grill. And this phone has stereo speakers, so that’s also quite nice.
On the front, there is a display with a waterdrop notch, and before you think why they did not go for a hole-punch panel, let us tell you that this phone has an AMOLED, not an LCD. This is definitely one of the main highlights of this phone because, at this price range, you will not find a lot of phones offering an AMOLED. And Infinix has used a pretty solid AMOLED panel here because it also offers up to 700 nits of brightness. This is a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. As we know, recently, Motorola launched the Moto G31 in India at almost a similar price as the Note 11, and that phone too has an AMOLED with up to 700 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, the Infinix Note 11 has MediaTek Helio G88 SOC, the same chipset which we saw powering the Infinix Hot 11S. Moreover, the Infinix Note 10 that Note 11 succeeded had the Helio G85, so there is not a massive upgrade in performance. There is only one storage option, and that’s 4GB + 64GB.
Camera-wise, we are looking at a triple camera setup on the rear where there is a primary camera with a 50MP sensor (f/1.6) and two 2MP sensors. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera.
And finally, the phone gets a big 5,000mAh battery under the hood, which can be charged quickly, thanks to the 33W fast charging support. You get a 33W adapter in the box. Android 11 runs out of the box with the company’s XOS 10 skin on top.
Infinix Note 11 is priced at ₹11,999 in India, and you can buy the phone via Flipkart starting December 20. But, this is an “Introductory” price, so only for the initial sales, we are going to see this price tag. After that, the price will be a bit higher.
