
Infinix India has launched a new budget 5G phone in the market named the Infinix Hot 50 5G. For a starting price of ₹9,999, the phone comes with an impressive spec sheet. Infinix says this is the most powerful 5G phone in its segment.
Starting with the design, the phone has flat sides and a hole-punch design on the front. While it looks like there are three rear cameras, the phone has only two. The phone is pretty slim at 7.82mm and weighs 188g. Infinix says this is the slimmest 5G phone in its segment. Finally, the phone has IP54 certification.
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 50 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. This SOC is built on the TSMC’s 6nm process and has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.4GHz. On the AnTuTu benchmark, this chipset scores around 450,000 points. There is 4GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The battery is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 18W fast charging.
On the back, there is a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor for the primary camera and a depth sensor for the secondary camera. The selfie camera has an 8MP sensor.
The display is a 6.7-inch 720p IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Finally, Android 14-based XOS runs out of the box.
