UPDATE 19/03/2020 – EVAN BLASS HAS NOW SHARED THE RENDERS SHOWING THE FRONT DESIGN OF P40 & P40 PRO


On March 26th, Huawei P40 Series is set to launch in an online-only event & so far we know that there are three flagships in total under this series – The P40, P40 Pro & the ‘Premium Edition.’ While the design is similar, they differ mainly in the camera department where the vanilla P40 features three rear cameras, the P40 Pro has Quad cameras & the ‘Premium Edtion’ has a Penta-lens setup. 

Today, Evan Blass shared the promo image of the Huawei P40 Series that reveals all the color options for every device under this series. Again, this is no the first time we see the design of these upcoming flagships from the brand.

As the image above reveals, the Huawei P40 & P40 Pro are coming in five color options – Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White. The ‘Premium Edition’ comes in two color options, namely Ceramic Black & Ceramic White (since there is a Ceramic Back).

As we know already via a leak, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition has a Penta-camera setup on the rear that includes –

  • 52 Megapixel camera with custom Sony IMX700 1/1.28″ RYYB sensor
  • 40 Megapixel ultra-wide Cine Lens with Sony IMX650 RGGB 1/1.5″ sensor
  • Telephoto Camera with 3X Optical Zoom
  • Periscope Telephoto Camera with 10X Optical Zoom
  • Time of Flight Sensor

The alleged pricing of the devices has leaked already (for European Market), and it is as follows (as per @RODENT950) –

  • P40 799-899€
  • P40 pro 999-1099€
  • P40 Pro PE 1199- 1299€
