Last year in December, Huawei Nova 4 launched as the company’s first phone with a hole-punch display & one of the first phones at that time with that design. Then this year, we got the Huawei Nova 5 series that includes Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, Nova 5i Pro, & Nova 5T. It looks like Huawei is all set to upgrade the Nova lineup as the Huawei Nova 6 5G press render leaked today.
There are rumors of it launching in December.
Compared to the Huawei Nova 5, the biggest difference is there on the front where we have a hole-punch display with dual selfie cameras. FYI, the Nova 5 has a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. There is also a noticeable bottom chin. The Huawei Nova 6 5G has a multi-camera setup on the rear. There are triple cameras & the LED flash placed in a single module.
It looks like there is something else on the side of the camera module & it could be a TOF sensor. But, it could very well be a laser AF system. If you look closely, the fingerprint scanner seems to be on the right side, which will also act as the power button.
As the name says, the Huawei Nova 6 5G is the 5G variant of upcoming Nova 6 & could be one of the first mid-range phones from the brand with 5G connectivity. Now, Huawei Nova 5 launched with Kirin 810 SOC, so it would be interesting to see which chipset the Nova 6 5G is going to pack.
