Huawei Mate 30 Pro CAD renders confirm the design

A couple of days back, Huawei announced the September 19 Event for its upcoming Mate 30 Series & the main highlight of the phones (especially the Mate 30 Pro), is going to be the cameras. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro CAD renders were shared by OnLeaks today in collaboration with PriceBaba that confirm the design that leaked via an alleged poster a week ago.

So yes, the Mate 30 Pro features a notch on the front instead of having a Full-Screen design like most of the flagships of this year. But, as we can see, there are multiple cameras & sensors in this notch which suggests some Face Unlock tech that we are going to get with the Mate 30 Pro. There are extremely thin bezels all around & the display is curved on the sides.

As per OnLeaks, it was not easy to measure the size of the display since the display is curved, but it is around 6.6-inches, which is bigger than the 6.39-inch panel on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

There are Quad Cameras on the rear placed in the circular module & the LED Flash is placed on the top left. The USB Type-C port, speaker, the primary microphone & the SIM card tray are placed on the bottom & there is no headphone jack.

The red-coloured power button is there on the right side, but there are no physical volume rockers on either side. So, it looks like the side panel is touch-sensitive to let users perform things like increasing or decreasing the volume & more.

While the specifications are not confirmed, the rumoured specs of Huawei Mate 30 Pro include Kirin 990 SOC with 5G Modem, Dual 40MP cameras on the back with the primary featuring a variable aperture (f/1.4-f/1.6) while the secondary being a wide-angle shooter with 120-degree FOV. There is also a third telephoto camera with 5X  Zoom.

Just like the Mate 20 Pro, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will feature a massive battery & it is rumoured that this time, we are getting a 4,500mAh battery with 55W Fast Charging. As we already know, the Mate 30 Series runs on Android OS but doesn’t feature Google Services out of the box, thanks to the US trade Ban.
