On October 16, Huawei will unveil its Mate 20 series flagships at the event in London. We have already seen a ton of leak related to the Mate 20 Pro, and it is already confirmed that we will see a triple camera setup on the back and a notch on the front. Today, the press renders of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro were leaked by Winfuture. These renders confirm all the previous details regarding the design of the phone.
Yes, the P20 series too was launched with a notched design, but with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, we are getting a bigger notch. This might be due to the extra sensors present on the front for accurate Face Unlock. The display has rounded corners and minimal bezels on all the four sides. There is a small chin on the bottom, but it is smaller than what we have seen on most of the Android phones launched this year.
On the rear, the Mate 20 Pro has a triple camera setup, but instead of having a vertical setup, the phone has all the camera lenses and the LED flash placed in a square arrangement. Some may like it & some may not, but the company is not going to change the design when just three weeks are left for the official launch.
With all these leaks regarding the design, we still have no information about the specifications from any reliable source. Still, as per the rumors, there is a 6.3-inch OLED display with a Quad-HD+ resolution (3120×1440). The fingerprint scanner is placed under the display. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 processor, and there is up to 8GB RAM.

With a powerful camera setup, we can surely expect to see 5X Optical Zoom this time (not a hybrid ZOOM like the P20 Pro). We already know that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is going to support Wireless Charging but in case you don’t know, the Huawei Freebuds 2 will also support the same. So, the users will be able to charge them via the charging pad or even via the phone itself.
Overall, the Mate 20 Pro will definitely be one of the best flagships of this year. Let’s see what more Huawei is going to offer with its upcoming flagships.
