Mid-Range HTC Desire 20 Pro in the works, launching soon

HTC was once one of the top smartphone makers in the world, and its devices were known for their build quality, incredible speakers and the Sense UI. From the past few years, we have seen the decline of HTC, and no matter how hard HTC tries to make a comeback, it fails. Still, HTC is not dead yet since as per LlabTooFeR on Twitter, HTC Desire 20 Pro is an upcoming phone from the brand that bears the codename “Bayamo”.

While we don’t have any image of the phone or any spec list, the source said that the design is a mix or OnePlus 8 and Mi 10. So, from the front, the design is similar to the OnePlus 8, which means there is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the rear, there is a design similar to the Mi 10, which means there are vertically placed cameras on the top left. It is a mid-range device, so there is no surprise that the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

HTC Desire 20 Pro also showed up on Geekbench with Android 10 running out of the box and 6GB RAM. Looking at the benchmark scores, it seems like some Snapdragon 6-series SOC (665?). While we don’t know which SOC it is, the Geekbench listing does reveal that it is one from Qualcomm instead of a MediaTek SOC.

Well, there is no extra information yet so stay tuned.
