Honor V7 Pro tablet to launch with Dimensity 1300T chipset

It will be the first device powered by this newest SOC by MediaTek

As we know already, more and more smartphone manufacturers are now launching tablets, with the likes of OnePlus & Realme set to join this list soon. Honor is making Android tablets for quite some time & soon, the company will launch a flagship tablet named the Honor V7 Pro. Today, we got to know something very interesting. This tablet will be the first to launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300T chipset, which is yet to be announced officially. And the “T” in the name of this SOC means that this is a SOC made for Flagship tablets.

Digital Chat Station, a well-known source on Weibo, shared an image that shows the press release of the Dimensity 1300T chipset. The image also shows that the document says “Confidential for Honor”. So, it seems like someone has spilled the beans here. The document says that the Dimensity 1300T SOC is built on the 6nm manufacturing process, just like the Dimensity 1200. It clearly mentions that this chip will be first seen on an upcoming Honor tablet & the company has six-month exclusivity on this SOC.

Well, there is little to no information on the Honor V7 Pro yet, but it is said that Honor might launch this tablet along with the Honor Magic 3 series, which is set to go official next month on the 12th. As the name shows, it is the successor of the Honor V6 of last year, which featured the flagship-grade Kirin 985 SOC.
