Honor Power is now official in China and at 8,000mAh, this is the “normal-sized” smartphone with the largest battery in the market right now. We had to mention “normal-sized” because there are already rugged smartphones with bigger batteries but those are super heavy and thick. The Honor Power, despite having such a large battery, is just 7.98mm thick. That’s impressive and it is all thanks to the new Silicon Carbon tech that Chinese phone makers are using in their batteries.
Design-wise, the Honor Power has a dual camera setup on the rear placed in the top left corner. The phone has a quad-curved display on the front with a pill-shaped cutout for the selfie shooter. There are stereo speakers.
Under the hood, the Honor Power has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and it is paired with a massive 8,000mAh battery. The phone supports 66W wired charging. The display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 10-bit color depth, 4000 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming.
There are three cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP sensor with OIS and the secondary camera has a 5MP sensor with an ultrawide lens. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out of the box.
