Today, Honor launched its first premium flagship phone in the Indian market since its comeback, the Honor Magic 6 Pro. The phone was launched in China in January, so after more than six months, the device was launched in India. The phone is priced at ₹89,999 in the Indian market, which brings it to the territory of the Galaxy S24 and the iPhone 15 series.

The phone is available in two colors – Black & Epi Green. The green color has a faux leather material on the rear with a grippy texture. The Black color has a normal glass back. There is a circular camera module with a triple camera setup, and the star of the show is that periscope telephoto camera, hence the larger circle than the other two cameras. The phone is IP68-certified and has a stereo speaker setup.

The display on this device is stunning. Honor Magic 6 Pro has a quad-curved display with the company’s “JuRhino” glass protection. This is a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 5,000 nits peak brightness, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and 10-bit color depth. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Under the hood, the phone is using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. There is a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.

In terms of cameras, the phone has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.3″ 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor, with a variable aperture lens (f/1.4 – f/2.0) and OIS support. The ultrawide camera has a 1/2.88″ 50MP OmniVision OV50D sensor, and it can shoot macro photos as well. Finally, there is a 1/1.49″ 180MP sensor for the periscope telephoto camera, and this telephoto camera offers a 2.5x optical zoom.

On the front, the phone has a pill-shaped cutout as it has two sensors. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with autofocus, and the secondary sensor is a 3D time of flight sensor for face unlock.

Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0.

The price is ₹89,999, and the sale starts on the 15th of August.
