In December last year, we got to know that Honor 9X would launch in the Indian market in January 2020. Well, at that time, there was no official word from the brand itself on the launch, but today, Honor indirectly confirmed the launch of the phone in India soon. Indirectly in the sense that the company didn’t reveal the name but only teased the launch.
The teaser says, “Sometimes it’s good to go back to your X,” which is more than enough for us to confirm that it’s the teaser for the Honor 9X launch in India. The phone launched in China in July last year & later in Europe. As the name suggests, it is the successor to the Honor 8X that was a pretty popular device of 2018.
If the company launches the European version of the 9X in India, then we are getting a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD panel with no notch or holes, Kirin 710F SOC, a 4,000mAH battery, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, a 16MP pop-up selfie camera, 4GB RAM & 128GB ROM.

It’s most likely not happening, but if the company decides to launch the Honor 9X Pro for China as the 9X for India, then we are getting a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD panel, Kirin 810 SOC, 8GB RAM, 128/256GB ROM, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, 16MP pop-up selfie camera & a 4,000mAh battery. There is liquid cooling as well.
If Honor wants to sell a good number of units of the Honor 9X in India, it would be a better idea to launch the Kirin 810-powered version instead of the one having Kirin 710F. What do you say? Do let us know via the comments section below.
